Residents of Asmara call for stepped-up collaboration with city sanitation workers

A number of residents of Asmara lauded the input of city sanitation workers, and called on fellow residents to step up collaboration with them.

Asmara, 15 October 2013 – A number of residents of Asmara lauded the input of city sanitation workers, and called on fellow residents to step up collaboration with them.

Among the residents, Ms. Midget Abraham, Ermias Araya, Mr. Medhanie Shitou and Mr. Tsegai Zerai said that the residents should popularize the norm of proper handling of trash items.

Among the cleaners, Ms. Gidey Ibrahim and Ms. Rishan Tesfai called on the residents to dispose of bus tickets, lottery cards and soft papers in trash bins.

Ms. Zewdi Habtemichael and Mr. Gidey Zewoldi, both workers of Asmara Municipal Administration, noted the importance of popular collaboration in promoting the city’s hygiene.
