Foreign Minister Osman Saleh pointed out that Eritrea is exerting stepped-up diplomatic endeavors towards ensuring safe neighborhood with a view to fostering all-round development, thus registering significant outcome in this connection.

Asmara, 16 October 2013 – Foreign Minister Osman Saleh pointed out that Eritrea is exerting stepped-up diplomatic endeavors towards ensuring safe neighborhood with a view to fostering all-round development, thus registering significant outcome in this connection.

He made the remark today at a meeting in Asmara with Consuls working in various countries focusing on assessment of consular services, and thereby raising the quality thereof.

Mr. Osman expressed appreciation for the ongoing efforts targeting enhancement of the role of nationals in State affairs, in addition to mounting popular resolve against external conspiracies. He also called for further concentration on the part of pertinent bodies in this regard.

The Foreign Minister went on to outline the accomplishments registered pertaining to diplomatic and popular works. He further shed light on the programs mapped out so as to raise quality of consular services on the basis of thus identifying the merits and demerits.
