A number of tourists from Germany and Austria expressed satisfaction with the prevailing peace and popular hospitality in Eritrea. They also voiced appreciation for Keren city’s climatic setting and topography, in addition to the historic sites and art decos in the area.

Keren, 24 October 2013 – A number of tourists from Germany and Austria expressed satisfaction with the prevailing peace and popular hospitality in Eritrea. They also voiced appreciation for Keren city’s climatic setting and topography, in addition to the historic sites and art decos in the area.

Mr. Seipel Kerl and Ms. Sattleder Ulrike from Germany and Austria respectively lauded the lifestyle of the Eritrean people as well as the accomplishments being registered, besides the prevailing social harmony and spirit of hard work among nationals. The tourists also indicated that they have documented a number of pictures depicting the colorful supplies at the market place in Keren and interesting angles of Mariam Dearit Monastery.

Mr. Alem Akalu from Explore Travel Agency on his part pointed out that pleasant climate and prevalence of peace remain to be the core of tourist attraction in the country, and that the growing number of tourists attests to this. The visiting tourists made a tour of Massawa and Keren cities, as well as the historic sites of Kohaito and Metera.
