The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, has called on Consular Offices in various countries to demonstrate commitment towards furthering service quality, and thus backing popular resolve against external conspiracies. The Minister made the call in closing remarks at a 2-week meeting organized in this connection in Asmara, during which he expressed appreciation for the views exchanged in the course of the forum.
Asmara, 26 October 2013 – The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, has called on Consular Offices in various countries to demonstrate commitment towards furthering service quality, and thus backing popular resolve against external conspiracies. The Minister made the call in closing remarks at a 2-week meeting organized in this connection in Asmara, during which he expressed appreciation for the views exchanged in the course of the forum.
In this connection, Mr. Osman stressed that stepped-up endeavors on the part of the Consular Missions constitutes a prerequisite as regards mounting all-round resolve against anti-Eritrea agendas.
Also speaking at the meeting that also involved assessment, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, and Mr. Hagos Gebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs at the PFDJ, respectively gave briefings focusing on the objective political and economic situation in the Homeland.
Moreover, briefings pertaining to the general operations and work developments of the National Immigration Office were given by pertinent heads in the course of the meeting.
The participants of the meeting are due to conduct tour in Anseba and Gash-Barka regions with a view to visiting major development sites, according to reports.
