The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Shambuko sub-zone has extended learning materials worth more than 10,000 Nakfa to a total of 32 needy students from 5 schools.
Shambuko, 29 October 2013 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Shambuko sub-zone has extended learning materials worth more than 10,000 Nakfa to a total of 32 needy students from 5 schools.
Mr. Andemeskel Gezae, head of the branch office, disclosed that the support includes the funding of registration fees, and stated that such focus on promoting the participation of needy students in education attests to the government’s commitment towards improving the livelihood of nationals.
Among the parents of the beneficiaries, Ms. Tsigehana Mebrahtu and Ms. Alem Tekeste expressed satisfaction with the support, and lauded the efforts being made to equip nationals with the necessary knowledge.
