A training course was organized for a total of 400 elementary, junior and secondary education teachers in Ginda sub-zone with a view to raising student competence.

Ginda, 04 November 2013 – A training course was organized for a total of 400 elementary, junior and secondary education teachers in Ginda sub-zone with a view to raising student competence.

The training focusing on student-centered learning approach constitutes a continuation of previous efforts seeking the furthering of student capacity in simple manner.

Mr. Omar Mahmoud, head of educational affairs in the Northern Red Sea region, said that the training is expected to make significant impact in the course of the forthcoming academic year.

Pointing out that the largest budgetary allocation of the nation goes to the education sector, Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, called on communities in general and teachers in particular to demonstrate commitment towards nurturing educated citizens.

Mr. Misgina Yared, resource person, and Mr. Tsegabirhan Teame, trainee, explained the vitality of the training course vis-à-vis the teaching-learning process, and asserted that they would strive for its implementation.
