Battered spots and a bridge along the asphalt road to Sembel have been renovated in line with the ongoing process of renewing motorways and pavements in Asmara city.

Asmara, 05 November 2013 – Battered spots and a bridge along the asphalt road to Sembel have been renovated in line with the ongoing process of renewing motorways and pavements in Asmara city.

Among the residents, Mr. Haile Gebregzibaher, Mr. Abdulkadir Hagos, Mr. Siyum Teklemichael and Mr. Mengisteab Ogbamichael indicated that transportation problems used to be witnessed at such spots especially during the rainy season, and lauded the timely measure taken by the Municipal Administration to revamp them. They further pointed out that similar action needs to be taken targeting restoration of potholes along the routes to Beit-Mekae, Adi-Segudo, Geza-Banda and Akria.

Ms. Sitom Seid Omar, Administrator of Sembel area, expressed conviction that the renovation of the road is of vital importance as regards improving the livelihood of the residents.
