Inhabitants of Emni-Haili sub-zone renovate dirt roads in collaboration with EDF members

The inhabitants of the 17 Administrative areas in Emni-Haili sub-zone have renovated dirt roads connecting Emni-Haili and Adi-Bhaylai, as well as Sheka-Eyamo and Adi-Tafa in collaboration with EDF members.

Dirko, 06 November 2013 – The inhabitants of the 17 Administrative areas in Emni-Haili sub-zone have renovated dirt roads connecting Emni-Haili and Adi-Bhaylai, as well as Sheka-Eyamo and Adi-Tafa in collaboration with EDF members.

Reports indicated that the 24-Km Emni-Haili –Adi-Bhaylai route, which serves a number of villages, has been causing transport problem following its erosion during the rainy season.

Among the participant inhabitants and EDF members, Mr. Woldebirhan Solomon and Kalab Yemane noted the significant input of the community venture in easing transportation in the locality.

Likewise, Mr. Hailemichael Libsu, Administrator of Adi-Tafa area, pointed out that the road to the locality used to witness a state of quandary in transportation for a similar reason, while its renovation has presently given rise to undemanding drive.

Mr. Mogos Haile, head of social service in the sub-zone, stated that the undertaking would continue in the future in a more organized manner.
