Administrator of Southern Red Sea region calls for integrated efforts regarding implementation of development programs
The Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, has called for integrated efforts on the part of government bodies as regards implementation of development programs.
Assab, 08 November 2013 – The Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, has called for integrated efforts on the part of government bodies as regards implementation of development programs. He made the call at a meeting with Department Heads of the regional Administrative Office and sub-zonal Administrators, during which he presented an outline of the programs mapped out for implementation in the course of the 4th quarter of the current year.
Noting the vital importance of joint efforts regarding timely implementation of the tasks, the regional Administrator urged all sub-zonal Administrations to exert stepped-up endeavors towards furthering community-based style of living with a view to raising the impact of social service facilities.
Accordingly, categorization of merchandizing business ventures is an important task in the region, besides increasing the awareness of businesspersons pertaining to legal and related directives both at domestic and regional scope.
The meeting also underlined the need for sustaining follow-up and community input as regards afforestation vis-à-vis private irrigation farming activities.
The participants expressed readiness towards ensuring effective utilization of machinery.
