Youths in Assab express readiness to enhance role as regards national development programs

Youths in the port city of Assab expressed readiness to enhance role as regards national development programs, and called for the organization of trainings in this connection.

Assab, 09 November 2013 – Youths in the port city of Assab expressed readiness to enhance role as regards national development programs, and called for the organization of trainings in this connection.

Among the youths, Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Ahmedin, Asmelash Hailemariam and Michael Haish called on pertinent bodies to exert stepped-up efforts pertaining to the nurturing of dynamic youths with a view to giving impetus to the nation-building process. They further asserted that they would live up to the expectations of the nation.

Mr. Osman Abdelkadir, head of the NUEYS branch in the Southern Red Sea region, said that the popularization of societal values is among the factors which add impetus to the pace of national development programs. He went on to disclose that extensive programs would be implemented in line with such principle, besides the carrying out of awareness-raising activities such as seminars, trainings, contests and tours.
