Students of Adkeme-Miliga Secondary School harvest crops of families of martyrs

The students of Adkeme-Miliga Secondary School, Emni-Haili sub-zone, have harvested crops of families of martyrs and needy citizens.

Emni-Haili, 10 November 2013- The students of Adkeme-Miliga Secondary School, Emni-Haili sub-zone, have harvested crops of families of martyrs and needy citizens.

The beneficiaries indicated that the initiative taken by the students to collect their harvest attest to the honor they have towards martyrs and the needy citizens.

Ms. Selamawit Afwerki said that the initiative taken by the students is the continuation of the helping hand of the society.

Mr. Tesfamariam Mesfun on his part explained that the integrated efforts being taken by the students, teachers and area administrators has an impact in boosting the moral of families of martyrs, and commended for the assistance they are being provided.

From the participants of the campaign, students Musie Berhane and Amira Abdul-Wohab explained that extending assistance to families of martyrs and needy citizens is priceless traditional value of the Eritrean society, and that they feel spiritual satisfaction for participating in the campaign.

Likewise, Mr. Natnael Goitom, Director of the school, indicated that the students participate on yearly basis in such programs to assist families of martyrs and needy citizens, and that this year 2000 students took part in harvesting crops of 185 families of martyrs.
