Training courses being conducted for around 300 EDF members in Southern Red Sea region

Training courses regarding management, computer basics and finance are being conducted for around 300 members of the Eastern Command in the Southern Red Sea region.

Assab, 11 November 2013 – Training courses regarding management, computer basics and finance are being conducted for around 300 members of the Eastern Command in the Southern Red Sea region.

Yohanes Simon, head of educational service in the Eastern Command, explained that such trainings were organized as part of the ongoing efforts to raise the production capacity of EDF members, and that the initiative would continue in an extensive scope in the future.

Lijam Bekit, Dawit Teklai, Mohammed Idris and Yacob Yasin noted the vitality of the trainings in their career, and pointed out that higher enthusiasm is being witnessed among the trainees. They also expressed conviction that raising the adherence of the military to technological and other facilities is a prerequisite as regards the nation-building process.
