A total of 127 youths in Hagaz semi-urban center who have been attending theoretical and practical training courses in video shooting, electronics, first aid and other fields for 3 months graduated last Saturday.

Hagaz, 12 November 2013 – A total of 127 youths in Hagaz semi-urban center who have been attending theoretical and practical training courses in video shooting, electronics, first aid and other fields for 3 months graduated last Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jemal Woldit, head of the NUEYS branch in the sub-zone, called on the beneficiaries of the trainings to focus on career development on the basis of practical work exposure, and disclosed that there is a plan to launch new training schemes in woodwork and metal work.

Similarly, Ms. Amna Haj, Administrator of Hagaz sub-zone, noted the vitality of investing on the youth so as to guarantee sustainable national development, and pointed out that various activities are scheduled to be conducted in the year 2014. He also called for enhanced parental role in this regard.

Among the trainees, Reqiya Mohammed, Adil Idris, Rahel Semere, Arsema Haile and Samson Teklezgi expressed appreciation for the programs being implemented with a view to ensuring a bright future for youths, and said that they would translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice.
