The inhabitants of Kinafna, Adi-Seguagui and Adi-Samri, Mai-Aini sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with potable water supply in connection with becoming beneficiaries of a solar-energy-powered facility involving 6 distribution stations.

Mai-Aini, 13 November 2013 – The inhabitants of Kinafna, Adi-Seguagui and Adi-Samri, Mai-Aini sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with potable water supply in connection with becoming beneficiaries of a solar-energy-powered facility involving 6 distribution stations.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Tsige Tesfahans and Selam Ogbe explained that instances of water-borne diseases have decreased visibly following the putting in place of such facility. Moreover, they indicated that they could save time and energy in fetching water, thus encouraging female educational pursuit.

Mr. Ogbai Niguse, a member of the locality’s water management committee, disclosed that the health station and school in the area have become beneficiaries of potable water supply, and that training as well as supplies were provided aiming at water management.
