Mothers in Asmara City Administration Center host lunch honoring members of the People’s Army

Mothers in the Administration of Asmara City Center have hosted lunch honoring members of the People’s Army engaged in development campaigns in Debarwa sub-zone. They further asserted that such initiative attests to the soundness of the national policy of self-reliance.

 

Asmara, 15 November 2013 – Mothers in the Administration of Asmara City Center have hosted lunch honoring members of the People’s Army engaged in development campaigns in Debarwa sub-zone. They further asserted that such initiative attests to the soundness of the national policy of self-reliance.

Among the mothers, Ms. Fawzia Mohammed and Ms. Almaz Eyob expressed satisfaction with the spirit of companionship witnessed on the occasion.

Likewise, Mr. Daniel Asefaw and Mr. Ahmed Abdelwely expressed appreciation for the very impressive role of Eritrean women demonstrated during the armed struggle for independence up to the present, and said that such input which constitutes a unique feat in Eritrean history would remain to be monumental. They also commended the initiative taken by the mothers with a view to demonstrating admirable goodwill for the ongoing developmental activity.

Mr. Habtai Tesfazgi, Administrator of the Asmara City Center area, and Ms. Tiegisti Gebrai, Managing Director of the Administration, called on the remaining Area administrations to emulate such community initiative.
