Junior and High School students in Molqi and Dirko sub-zones extend support to martyrs’ families

Junior and High School students in Molqi sub-zone have extended support to families of martyrs as a continuation of the ongoing nationwide community endeavors.

Molqi, 19 November 2013 – Junior and High School students in Molqi sub-zone have extended support to families of martyrs as a continuation of the ongoing nationwide community endeavors.

Mr. Girmay Teferi, director of the school, pointed out that the popular undertaking of which a total of about 70 families have become beneficiaries involved collecting harvest. He further stated that students as the most active segment of the community should keep intact cultural values, and thereby play their due role in backing needy nationals.

Among the members of the families of fallen heroes, Ms. Rigbe Solomon and Ms. Aranshi Gebremichael expressed satisfaction with the support, and said that such community contributions constitute a remarkable input in improving their livelihood.

Out of the students, Berhe Teklai and Fanus Girmay voiced satisfaction with taking part in the undertaking, and asserted that they would continue engaging in such tasks.

Similarly, Middle and High School students in Dirko village, Emni-Haili sub-zone, took the responsibility of harvesting plantations for members of families of martyrs on the basis of a campaign.
