Inhabitants of Hagaz sub-zone called upon to enhance role in endeavors to promote equitability of health facilities

The Health Ministry’s branch in Hagaz sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance role in endeavors to promote equitability of health facilities.

Hagaz, 23 November 2013 – The Health Ministry’s branch in Hagaz sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance role in endeavors to promote equitability of health facilities. It made the call at an assessment meeting, during which Mr. Zecarias Ogbasilassie, Head of administration and finance in the branch office, pointed out that significant accomplishment has been registered pertaining to prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, as well as mother and child care.

Also speaking at the meeting, Ms. Amna Haj, Administrator of the sub-zone, indicated that stepped-up efforts are being exerted with a view to furthering quality and equitability of medical services in the locality. She further called for enhancement of joint ventures in connection with doing away with harmful customary practices. Ms. Anna also revealed the Administration’s readinessto extend a helping hand in the implementation of health programs.

The participants of the meeting put forth views targeting a number of issues.
