The Ministry of Trade and Industry has organized training course for a total of 50 civil servants and employees of private institutions with a view to raising human resource capacity in connection with international trade.
Asmara, 23 November 2013 – The Ministry of Trade and Industry has organized training course for a total of 50 civil servants and employees of private institutions with a view to raising human resource capacity in connection with international trade.
The training conducted in Emba-Soira Hotel here in the capital involved the concepts of multinational and bilateral trade exchange, business competition, agricultural trade, sectorial priorities across nations, financial institutions and currency management, as well as international trade and finance, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Estifanos Habte, Minister of Trade and Industry, explained that the training is aimed at effective harnessing of opportunities in the domain, and thereby fostering trade activities between Eritrea and India, which have been witnessing significant growth across years.
Among the trainees, Mr. Michael Haile, Mr. Saleh Nawood and Ms. Saba Hailom noted the significance of such training as regards raising the level of expertise for the sector, and expressed conviction that the knowledge they have acquired constitute a stepping stone to effective work. They also called for more trainings of this type.
