Eritrean Athletes register victory at the race conducted in Spain

Eritrean Athletes Teklemariam Medhin and Samuel Tsegai registered victory in the two races conducted on 24 November in Spain.

Asmara, 26 November 2013- Eritrean athletes Teklemariam Medhin and Samuel Tsegai registered victory in the two races conducted on 24 November in Spain.

In the 9,500 meters race known as ‘Alcobendas’ held for the 34th time, Athlete Teklemariam Medhin finished the race in 28 minutes and stood second behind Kenyan athlete Emanuel. Eritrean athlete Goitom Kifle also stood 4th finishing the race in 28 minutes and 19 seconds.

In the same day, in the 15,800 meters race conducted from Saturch to Bilbao in which more than 3,000 athletes took part, Eritrean athlete Samuel Tsegai stood first finishing the race in 45 minuets and 10 seconds.
