ENWVA members in Stuttgart City to reinforce assistance to the Disabled

Members of the Eritrean National War Disabled Veterans Association in Stuttgart City, Germany, have expressed readiness to assist war-disabled citizens in the homeland.

Asmara, 28 November 2013- Members of the Eritrean National War Disabled Veterans Association in Stuttgart City, Germany, have expressed readiness to assist war-disabled citizens in the homeland.

The Association in the German city which was established in 2001 has implemented different projects in cooperation with government and non-governmental organizations in that country, in addition to concerned Eritrean nationals residing in Stuttgart and its environs towards enabling war disabled citizens become self-supporting.

The Association further indicated that different projects including a computer center in Gash-Barka region, bee farm in the Central region for female war-disabled citizens as well as medicines worth 10 thousand Nakfa.

Moreover members of the Eritrean communities in the cities of Esslingen, Stuttgart, Leinefelden-Echterdingen, and Cologne and its surroundings in addition to Eritrean nationals  residing in Darmstadt have donated Euro 7,800 towards rehabilitation of war disabled veterans.

The Association further expressed appreciation to those who extended supported to Eritrean war-disabled veterans, and called for participation towards insuring the success of programs to be implemented next month in Stuttgart and other German cities in connection with the Day of the Disabled.
