Eritrean community in Austria takes part in bazaar organized by United Nations Women’s Guild

Eritrean community members in Austria have taken part in a bazaar organized last Saturday in Vienna city by the United Nations Women’s Guild in which more than 70 countries took part.

 

Asmara, 03 December 2013 – Eritrean community members in Austria have taken part in a bazaar organized last Saturday in Vienna city by the United Nations Women’s Guild in which more than 70 countries took part.

In their third exposure in such event aimed at fundraising for charity purpose, the nationals staged various pictorial contents depicting the history and culture of the nation and tourism sites, as well as social service outreach and development accomplishments in the Homeland. Eritrean cuisine and the national coffee ceremony also featured at the cultural fair.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that the Eritrean armed struggle for independence was adequately portrayed in the course of the event, and that the nationals voiced readiness to enhance role as regards promoting the right image of the nation.
