Eritrean National Team of Females registers remarkable result in cycling tour in Egypt

The National Team of Females today registered a remarkable result in the cycling tour in Egypt, in which Wehazit Kidane seized the 3rd rank.

Asmara, 04 December 2013 – The National Team of Females today registered a remarkable result in the cycling tour in Egypt, in which Wehazit Kidane seized the 3rd rank.

Moreover, team member Tsehaynesh Fitsum ranked 5th, while Yerusalem Gebru and Senait Mengis stood 9th and 14th.

South African Ashlegi Molman was the co-competitor who again emerged African champion in the competition.

The tournament for males is due to take place tomorrow involving 155 Km.

Meanwhile, Eritrean cyclist Natnael Berhane has been nominated in the contest for “Africa’s best sportsperson” at the website www.africatop.sport.
