Defense Ministry organizes training for 40 members

The Ministry of Defense has organized a training course involving basics of  journalism, graphics, archiving and still as well as videography for a total of 40 members.

Asmara, 06 December 2013 – The Ministry of Defense has organized a training course involving basics of  journalism, graphics, archiving as well as videography for a total of 40 members.

Capt. Fisehaye Lemlem from the Ministry indicated that it has been exerting stepped-up efforts with a view to promoting sports activities among members, and that the current training is new in its type. “The plan is to give impetus to the Ministry’s audio-visual capacity through raising the potential of expertise,” he added.

Mr. Al-Amin Ali-Muz and Mr. Teklemariam Tekeste, resource persons, pointed out that the timely course entails on-the-job training, and lauded the enthusiasm of the trainees.

Among the beneficiaries, Rahwa Haile and Yared Mengisteab said that the trainees’ passion in the career, along with the trainers’ commitment, has given rise to a significant impact.

Likewise, Angesom Tewolde, among the organizers of the training, disclosed that more trainings of this type would be organized in the future.
