The Office of the Police Force in Anseba region has called on students in Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique to popularize spirit of moral virtue and academic competence.
Hagaz, 06 December 2013 – The Office of the Police Force in Anseba region has called on students in Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique to popularize spirit of moral virtue and academic competence. It made the call at a meeting during which Maj. Kiflit Elias, head of crime prevention in the region, called on the participants to effectively utilize the free educational opportunity they have been accorded and thereby ensure bright future.
The police officer further advised the students to extend a helping hand in endeavors towards controlling criminal acts and raising agricultural output, besides pointing out that students should raise their awareness regarding law.
Accordingly, instances of crime have shown decline by 15% in the region in the course of the current year.
Likewise, Sub-Lieutenant Kifleyesus Isaac, commander of the police station in Hagaz semi-urban center, said that various accomplishments have been registered in collaboration with the community, thus giving rise to significant drop in the number of cases of crime.
Brother Gebreyesus Habte, Director of the school, expressed appreciation for the discipline of the students, and lauded the office for organizing such seminar.
The students on their part asserted that they would sustain collaboration with members of the Police Force.
