Women in Bel’ebuy area express satisfaction with health service

Women in Bel’ebuy area, Central Denkalia sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the service the health station in the locality is rendering.

Assab, 10 December 2013 – Women in Bel’ebuy area, Central Denkalia sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the service the health station in the locality is rendering.

Among the women, Ms. Fatuma Nuri, Ms. Kula Ali, Ms. Kedija Seid and Ms. Alewia Mohammed lauded the government’s commitment to rural development, and indicated that the health station has made remarkable impact in safeguarding community health.  They further pointed out that the mothers’ resort to maternity services has become commendable, giving rise to declining cases of child and mother mortality.

Accordingly, community sensitization efforts in the area have borne higher popular awareness regarding health issues and environmental hygiene, especially on the part of females.

Haji Suleiman Ismail from the health station disclosed that they have also been carrying out outreach medical and sensitization services.
