Rising number of registrations at Boarding School in Afambo attests to growing community awareness regarding education: School administration
The administration of the Boarding school in Afambo, Junior level, stated that a rising trend of registrations attests to the growing community awareness regarding education in the area.
Assab, 12 December 2013 – The administration of the Boarding school in Afambo, Junior level, stated that a rising trend of registrations attests to the growing community awareness regarding education in the area. It went on to indicate that such an achievement is the outcome of sustained community sensitization activities.
Mr. Hamadu Mohammed, school director, disclosed that students who pursued learning at the 8 Elementary schools in the sub-zone are admitted to the school, and that the number of students admitted recently has shown visible increase.
Among students, Bori Igahle, Fatuma Ali, Ali Halo and Khedija Alusan expressed satisfaction with the educational opportunity accorded them at government expenditure, and lauded their parents’ goodwill in their academic pursuit ,as well as the enthusiasm of the teachers in the school. They also said that they would effectively use the learning opportunity.
