The Education Ministry’s branch in Foro sub-zone has called for more endeavors in a bid to giving impetus to Adult Education Program in Airomale Administrative area.
Foro, 13 December 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Foro sub-zone has called for more endeavors in a bid to giving impetus to Adult Education Program in Airomale Administrative area. It made the call at an assessment meeting, during which Mr. Ismail Ali, head of the branch office, stated that educational activities in general and adult education in particular are witnessing a significant progress.
Accordingly, the number of adult education stations in the sub-zone has increased to 21, while there exist plan to open new ones in the future.
Also speaking at the meeting, Mr. Reshid Osman, head of the Ministry’s branch in the Nothern Red Sea region, indicated that the number of the program’s participants is on the rise, and that the stations to be opened would target further outreach vis-à-vis enhancement of the sensitization process to this end.
Likewise, the Administrator of Foro sub-zone, Mr. Dawit Embaye, noted the irreplaceable role of the established committees and Area administrators pertaining to the realization of the cherished goal. He further called on the community members to extend a helping hand towards the efforts being exerted to attain increased literacy level.
The participants of the meeting lauded the government’s commitment to promote literacy, and expressed readiness to sustain participation in the process.
