40 members of Defense Ministry who have been attending training courses graduate

A total of 40 members of the Defense Ministry who have been attending training courses on Principles of Journalism, Graphics, Archiving and Documentation, as well as Still and Motion Photography graduated yesterday.

Asmara, 14 December 2013 – A total of 40 members of the Defense Ministry who have been attending training courses on Principles of Journalism, Graphics, Archiving and Documentation, as well as Still and Motion Photography graduated yesterday.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Brig. General Teklemichael Habtu, Head of Communication and Dissemination in the Ministry, pointed out that the trainees are expected to further their skill capacity using the opportunity as a stepping stone, and disclosed that more training courses would be organized in the future.

In a report he presented concerning the objective of the training and the procedures of its organization, Capt. Fissehaye Lemlem indicated that the sole target constitutes raising the human resource capacity to this end.

One of the trainers, Yared Andebirhan said that such trainings have been conducted in collaboration with stakeholders, and that the specialty of the current one lies in its integrated nature.

A representative of the graduates voiced satisfaction with the training courses, and asserted that they would focus on skill development.
