The inhabitants of Kertset Administrative area, Halhal sub-zone, said that they are in a position to become beneficiaries of social service facilities following their resort to community-based living style.
Halhal, 16 December 2013 – The inhabitants of Kertset Administrative area, Halhal sub-zone, said that they are in a position to become beneficiaries of social service facilities following their resort to community-based living style.
Mr. Mahmoud Mohammed-Nur, Administrator of the area, disclosed that the facilities put in place in the locality comprise potable water supply, Junior and Elementary School, mobile telephone service and others related to infrastructure, and that they have made remarkable impact in improving community livelihood. He further stated that such accomplishment is in line with the government’s sound policy as regards rural area development, and called for further efforts pertaining to expanding health outreach.
Kertset Administrative area is currently inhabited by more than 4,000 nationals.
