Dirko, 19 December 2013 – The inhabitants of Adi-Kodo Administrative area, Emni-Haili sub-zone, are constructing an Elementary School that would accommodate 5 classrooms.
Mr. Zemichael Yakiem, Administrator of the area, disclosed that the task is being accomplished through deployment of financial and labor resources.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Tesfai Abraha and Mr. Abdukadir Abdulbari expressed conviction that the launching of such facility would make further impact as regards child education.
Mr. Michael Jowani, Administrator of Maedo village, explained on his part that the community took the initiative with a view to ensuring better environment for the teaching-learning process. One of the students in the locality, Bisrat Efrem, stated that they anticipate the launching of the school with eagerness.
Mr. Tedros Tesfatsion, Director of the school, indicated that there has been lack of accommodation for various teaching activities, and that the opening of the school would be an effective solution to this end.
