20 students graduate with certificate from SMAP’s branch in Mendefera

A total of 20 students graduated with certificate in Accounting and Management from SMAP Institute of Training, Education and Consultancy’s branch in Mendefera.

Mendefera, 23 December 2013 – A total of 20 students graduated with certificate in Accounting and Management from SMAP Institute of Training, Education and Consultancy’s branch in Mendefera.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony last Saturday, Dr. Tesfai Haile, Director of the Institute, lauded the collaboration of the Administration of the Southern region in this regard, and explained that the goals of the Institute are in tune with the endeavors being exerted to give added momentum to the national development drive. He further disclosed that the majority of the students comprise civil servants, and expressed conviction that the knowledge they have acquired would help them in their respective careers.

Accordingly, the Institute has launched distance education program based in Dekemhare city.

Also speaking on the occasion, the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekristos, said that national development can be achieved only through ensuring reliable human resource capacity, and urged youths in general and civil servants in particular to utilize the educational opportunity for career development.

The Institute’s branch in Mendefera registered Certificate and Diploma students in the fields of Accounting, Business Management, Pedagogy, ICT and English language, according to reports.
