The Administration of Asmara College of Health Science pointed out that it is exerting efforts towards meeting the demand for health expertise and promoting the capacity of professionals engaged in the career domain.

Asmara, 23 December 2013 – The Administration of Asmara College of Health Science pointed out that it is exerting efforts towards meeting the demand for health expertise and promoting the capacity of professionals engaged in the career domain.

Dr. Berhane Girmai, Dean of the College, indicated that it has currently enrolled around 3,000 Bachelors’ Degree and Diploma students pursuing studies in the fields of Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Technology, while a total of 700 others are in their internship in various health institutions in the Central region.

Among the lecturers, Mr. Isayas Afewerki and Ms. Nejat SIraj commended the students’ enthusiasm towards practical work, the impact of which is of paramount importance in their future career input.

Out of the students, Petros Asmerom, Amal Ahmed, Wegahta Andai and Al-Amin Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the free educational service they have been accorded at government expenditure, and expressed readiness to serve the people with dedication upon completing their studies.
