Ginda, 02 January 2014 – A trainers’ training regarding management of forestry and wildlife was organized for a total of 24 individuals from all over Ginda sub-zone.
Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Abraha Garza, Head of the National Authority of Forestry and Wildlife, noted the training’s input as regards preventing deforestation and promoting wildlife.
Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abraha Gebremeskel, Head of Human Resource Development and Training in the Agriculture Ministry, equally stressed the importance of the training, and called on the trainees to translate the knowledge they acquire into practice.
Among the beneficiaries, Mr. Abraham Teklu and Mr. Gebremichael Berhe expressed satisfaction with the training program that involved practical exposures to various areas of the National Green Belt, and asserted that they would play due role towards the realization of the cherished goal.
