Ginda, 07 December 2014 – An exemplary irrigation farmer in Dengolo-Laelai Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, said that it is striving to attain bountiful harvest with a view to making valuable input to the local market at fair price.
Mr. Mahmoud Ramadan, the farmer, disclosed that a wide range of citric and other fruit varieties cultivated on a 10-hectare area are in good condition, and that his harvest, including vegetables, is being sold in various market places nationwide. He further expressed appreciation for the government’s collaboration in his endeavors, and pointed out that he would strive to expand the scope of the farm.
Among the employees, Ms. Seada Hussein, Ms. Seida, Fatina Saleh and Mr. Aman Omaredeen Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the job opportunity the farm has created in the area, and stated that remarkable accomplishments has been registered in the area concerning soil and water conservation.
