Adobha, 08 January 2014 – The inhabitants of Adobha sub-zone have expressed satisfaction with services by the health center in Dirit Administrative area. They further lauded the government’s commitment as regards promoting social service outreach, and asserted that the health center is making significant input in safeguarding community wellbeing.
Among the inhabitants, Ms. Sitel Mohammed-Seid, Ms. Fatina Mohammed-Ali and Mr. Mohammed-Omar Mohammed indicated that the health center is rendering commendable maternity and pediatric services, and that community awareness regarding communicable diseases is on the rise. They further lauded the commitment of the health personnel in the health center, and voiced conviction that they are in a position to become beneficiaries of such service following the initiative they took to resort to community-based style of living.
Mr. Ali Sifaf from the center stated that the community’s awareness regarding health issues has shown visible increase in connection with the community sensitization activities conducted thereof. He also asserted that the staff members would put up enhanced efforts for still more gratifying outcome.
Accordingly, the health center provides antenatal and postnatal care, immunization, VCT and other services involving outpatient and inpatient departments. Moreover, it secures a 24-hour electricity supply on the basis of solar energy system.
