Participation of inhabitants of Mensura sub-zone in popular undertakings in 2013 assessed as being outstanding

The Administration of Mensura sub-zone pointed out that the participation of the inhabitants in popular undertakings last year was assessed as being outstanding.

Mensura, 08 January 2014 – The Administration of Mensura sub-zone pointed out that the participation of the inhabitants in popular undertakings last year was assessed as being outstanding. It made the remark at an assessment meeting during which it was stated that remarkable impact could be registered as regards soil and water conservation on the basis of such ventures.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Sheikhedin Saleh, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that communal initiatives could be organized up to village level, which gave impetus to community undertakings. He also called on community members to extend a helping hand towards prevention of deforestation and practice judicious utilization of social service facilities.

The participants of the meeting expressed readiness to sustain communal initiative backing development programs set for implementation in the locality.
