The National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) has called on members in Gash-Bakra region to step up input in national development drive.
Barentu, 09 January 2014 – The National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) has called on members in Gash-Bakra region to step up input in national development drive. It made the call at a meeting conducted in Barentu city with youth representatives from all over the region, during which Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of the Union, explained that it looks forward to more gratifying work on the basis of new organization and functionality.
Accordingly, popularization of cultural values, activities of High school-based clubs, training of cadres and branch heads, as well as the conducting of seminars in higher education institutions are among the priorities of the Union for 2014.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mohammed Hamd, expressed appreciation for the Union’s readiness for a move on the basis of new organization, and urged youths in the region to utilize opportunities effectively so as to ensure bright future for themselves and the nation.
The participants of the meeting asserted that they would enhance role in the implementation of national development programs.
