The inhabitants of Qrora Administrative area, Northern Red Sea region, said that social service facilities including education, health and potable water supply facilities in the locality are making significant impact thanks to their resort to community-based style of living.

Qrora, 23 January 2014 – The inhabitants of Qrora Administrative area, Northern Red Sea region, said that social service facilities including education, health and potable water supply facilities in the locality are making significant impact thanks to their resort to community-based style of living.

Mr. Saleh Mohammed-Ali, managing director of the area’s Administration, and Ms. Amna Mohammed expressed satisfaction with health and educational services, besides the putting in place of water distribution stations.

Accordingly, the master plan for 500 residential houses has been drawn up, 60 of which are on the way of construction.Likewise, Mr. Idris Mohammed Omar and Mr. Mohammed Ali Nafi’e, explained that the availability of such facilities attests to the government’s commitment to national development, and called for the installation of solar panels at the potable water supply stations.

Similarly,Mr. Kibrom Gesesew from the regional Administration’s Infrastructure Department indicated that the community members used to travel for about 4 Km. in search of health service, and that a health station is being constructed in the heart of the locality at a total expenditure of around 7 million Nakfa.
