Members of People’s Army in Mendefera and environs engage in environmental hygiene campaign

Members of the People’s Army in Mendefera city and and its environs, are engaged in environmental hygiene campaign within the Regional Referral Hospital.

Mendefera, 24 January 2014 – Members of the People’s Army in Mendefera city and and its environs, are engaged in environmental hygiene campaign within the Regional Referral Hospital.

Mr. Andebirhan Mesfin, one of the coordinators of the undertaking, pointed out that the initiative was taken in connection with the growing awareness regarding communal responsibility on environmental hygiene, and that the community members would sustain it in the future.

Among the participants, Mr. Sibhatu Gebreyesus, Jemila Omar and Mr. Isaac Tekle noted the vitality of the venture, and called on fellow residents to step up participation to this end. They further indicated that the Referral Hospital is witnessing a rather pleasant environment thanks to the carrying out of such popular task which is expected to continue in the form of afforestation.
