NUEW branch in Germany holds 20th Conference

The NUEW members in Germany held the 20th Conference last weekend. Reports were presented focusing on 3-year accomplishments in the course of the meeting in which a total of 125 members from 27 German cities took part, while the related merits and demerits were scrutinized thoroughly.

Asmara, 25 January 2014 – The NUEW members in Germany held the 20th Conference last weekend. Reports were presented focusing on 3-year accomplishments in the course of the meeting in which a total of 125 members from 27 German cities took part, while the related merits and demerits were scrutinized thoroughly.

The participants further elected a new committee that would serve for the coming 3 years, and put forth views on a number of issues.

Present in the meeting were the Eritrean Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Petros Tsegai, PFDJ and YPFDJ representatives, as well as members of the Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA).

Meanwhile, the Union’s members extended finical support to the Eritrean National War Veterans Association amount to 13,794 Euros which was accumulated through event-based fundraising endeavors.
