Operation Fenkil doorway to nation’s prosperity, Say commemoration participants

Participants of the commemoration of Operation Fenkil who are already in the port city of Massawa asserted that the feat was a springboard to the nation’s prosperity.

Massawa, 06 February 2014 – Participants of the commemoration of Operation Fenkil who are already in the port city of Massawa asserted that the feat was a springboard to the nation’s prosperity.

They further indicated that the Eritrean people and their leadership have always exerted joint effort towards portraying the significant national event vis-à-vis their commitment in the nation-building process. The momentous occasion should also be used as a good opportunity for popularization of national values, they added.

Among the participants, Jimi’e Shifa Adem, Mr. Tahir Adem and Mr. Hassan Saleh Gulai explained that the spirit of the commemoration reflects the manner the society cherishes the weighty tribute of the fallen heroes. Moreover, they expressed conviction that the national development drive would gain momentum thanks to the people’s perseverance and adherence to national values. They further lauded the initiatives taken to mark the event with fervor.
