Asmara, 07 February 2014 – Customers indicated that the Health Center in northern Asmara is rendering commendable service, and thus making remarkable impact in improving community wellbeing.
Among the residents of the area, Ms. Misgana Mebrahtu, Ms. Sebah Abdulwahab and Ms. Misgana Maekele expressed appreciation for the government’s commitment towards promoting health outreach vis-à-vis the commitment of the health personnel in the Center.
Ms. Abrehet Yemane, head of the health center, pointed out that stepped-up efforts have been made in a bid to raising service quality including in connection with maternity despite a growing trend in the number of admissions.
Accordingly, it has been rendering service to more than 60 patients a day, while the current number of mothers following the immunization process of their babies daily stands at 100. Moreover, regular services are being provided to diabetic and hypertensive individuals.
Ms. Adiam Berhane, Nurse, disclosed that the majority cases of admission pertain to antenatal care and child immunization. She further asserted that the health professionals in the Center would enhance hard input.
