The Eritrean community members in Kenya reiterated readiness to step up participation in State affairs on the basis of attaining higher organizational capacity.
Asmara, 13 February 2014 – The Eritrean community members in Kenya reiterated readiness to step up participation in State affairs on the basis of attaining higher organizational capacity. They made the pledge at a meeting, during which Mr. Desale Tekleab, head of public and community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Kenya, pointed out the need for exerting concerted efforts as regards nurturing cultural and national values among youth members.
The participants of the meeting exchanged views focusing on a number of issues, while a managing committee that would follow up community activities was elected.
The community members also said that they would sustain initiative pertaining to backing the national development drive and reinforcement of community activities.
