Afabet, 14 February 2014- Women who are following night schools in Afabet sub-zone expressed that school enrollment of women contributing in ensuring social justice.
Ms. Fatna Seid and Ms. Kadra Idris told Erina that with the rigorus awareness raising campaigns they received they were able to begin their education, and that they are following their education without being deterred by household obligations.
Ms. Seadia Fikak on her part indicated that she took National School Leaving Examination and training in Pedagogy, and that currently she is assigned as a teacher at the school she has been learning.
Mr. Adm Mohammed Hamid, head of adult education in the sub-zone, explained that children who have been unable to join schools have got the opportunity to learn at the night school, and that the awareness of the public on the need of education is growing.
Reports indicate that in Afabet sub-zone there are 36 schools ranging from kindergartens to high school, 22 illiteracy centers, and 8 centers for children who had no opportunity to go to school.
