The Chairman of the NUEYS, Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, called on the citizenry to step up efforts with a view to nurturing virtuous youths.
Mendefera, 16 February 2014 – The Chairman of the NUEYS, Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, called on the citizenry to step up efforts with a view to nurturing virtuous youths. He made the call at seminars he conducted with civil servants and students in Mendefera, Dekemhare, Debarwa and Segeneiti sub-zones, during which he pointed out the irreplaceable role of youths in the nation-building process, besides indicating that the Union has enhanced organization for a still more gratifying outcome.
Mr. Seid further stated that the Union is committed to nurturing youths who prove confidence in their cultural and national values, and called on members to assume higher responsibility in State affairs.
Mr. Tedros Tekle, Head of the GIS and Statistics department the region, said that the pace of implementation of development programs has gained momentum thanks to active youth participation, and urged the members of the Union to demonstrate greater spirit of nationalism, self-discipline and adherence to cultural values.
