Southern region: PFDJ branch organizes training for 34 staff members

The branch office of the PFDJ in the Southern region has organized a training course on archiving and document management for a total of 34 staff members from all over the region.

Mendefera, 17 February 2014 – The branch office of the PFDJ in the Southern region has organized a training course on archiving and document management for a total of 34 staff members from all over the region.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Kelifa Nur-Hussein, Secretary of the branch office, noted the vitality of the training as regards with ensuring sound office management, and called on the trainees to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice.

In the same vein, Ms. Saliha Adem, Head of organizational affairs in the branch office, called for timely documentation and updating of sub-zonal group activities, and said that stepped up efforts would be exerted to this end.

Mr. Megos Kesete, one of the trainees, noted the importance of applying proper document management vis-à-vis the fact that archives constitute evidence of history and reliable reference to the flow thereof.

The beneficiaries of the training asserted that they would strive for a still more gratifying outcome, and called for organizing extensive trainings of this type in the future.
