Market place in Tekawuda contributing in meeting public demand

The inhabitants of Tekawuda, Gogni sub-zone expressed that the market place put in place in their administrative area is contributing in meeting their demands.

Gogni, 23 February 2014- The inhabitants of Tekawuda, Gogni sub-zone expressed that the market place put in place in their administrative area is contributing in meeting their demands.

They explained that traders from different areas bring variety of consumer items for sale to the market, and that they have been able to satisfy their demands with fare price.

Mr. Onur Abdurahman and Mr. Hassan libab indicated that the Tekawuda market is one of the active markets in the area accommodating traders coming from different areas in Gash Barka, and that it has created conducive ground for the inhabitants to conduct small scale trade activities thereby improving their livelihood.

Mr. Dawud Abdalla and Mr. Mohammed Hazot on their part said that especially women from the area have become beneficiaries from the market, and that they have been able to improve their livelihood.
