The Administrator of Barentu sub-zone, Mr. Aurelio Jackomino, said the construction of a new hotel in Barentu is expected to give impetus to tourism service in the city.
Barentu, 24 February 2014 – The Administrator of Barentu sub-zone, Mr. Aurelio Jackomino, said the construction of a new hotel in Barentu is expected to give impetus to tourism service in the city. He made the remark in connection with the inauguration ceremony of a 14-million Nakfa Hotel, during which he noted its significance vis-à-vis tourism activities in the area.
Mr. Amine Woldeab, Head of the tourism department in the Administration of Gash-Barka region, equally emphasized the vitality of such facility in the city, and called on the Administration of the hotel named “Shrimp Hotel” to focus on customer satisfaction.
The Hotel’s building comprises bar, restaurant, supermarket and13 rooms, in addition to 2 others for VIP reservation.
Mr. Berhane Berhe, owner of the hotel, expressed appreciation for the active collaboration of the regional Administration, national construction companies and the National Development and Investment Bank, as well as others.
