The Eritrean community members in Sweden have set up a Joint Committee representing all national establishment branches, and asserted readiness to demonstrate staunch resistance against external conspiracies, in addition to backing the national development drive.

Asmara, 24 February 2014 – The Eritrean community members in Sweden have set up a Joint Committee representing all national establishment branches, and asserted readiness to demonstrate staunch resistance against external conspiracies, in addition to backing the national development drive.

The members elected a committee for the Swedish city of Gothenburg comprising 15 nationals, 6 of whom are females.

The participants of the meeting also assessed the joint accomplishments registered so far, and noted the vitality of enhancing organization with a view to nurturing national and cultural values among the youth generation.

The Committee seeks to popularize cultural values, besides safeguarding the rights of community members, enhancing the role of nationals in State affairs, giving impetus to Eritrean-Swedish relations and inspiring individual as well as institution stakeholders, among others.
