Students in Embaderho undertake soil and water conservation activities

Junior and Secondary students in Embaderho village are undertaking in soil and water conservation activities in their spare time.

Asmara, 24 February 2014 – Junior and Secondary students in Embaderho village are undertaking in soil and water conservation activities in their spare time.

Among the students, Nahom Tesfaldet and Semira Siraj indicated that such activities have significant impact as regards prevention of soil erosion and defforestation.

Samsom Kibrom, teacher and head of student affairs in the school, explained that the students are taking initiative in different activities organized with community participation regarding the issue.

Mr. Leul Tewolde, Head of NUEYS in Serejeka sub-zone, expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by the student, and asserted that such activities would continue in a highly organized manner.

At a meeting during that Mr. Gebrekidan Teweldebirhan, Administrator of Adi-Guaedad village, conducted with the students, he called on them to demonstrate diligence as regards putting up staunch resistance against external anti-Eritrea conspiracies, besides striving for higher outcome in their academic pursuit.
